The tutoring or instruction rates are based on the level and type of instruction, not necessarily the student’s age or grade.
High School — $95/hr
This level is designed for students taking standard or honors-level high school math, physics, or related coursework. Subjects may include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, physics, honors physics, accelerated physics, and chemistry.
AP/College — $110/hr
This level is designed for students taking AP courses or introductory college-level math and physics courses. This is best for students who need deeper conceptual explanations and more advanced problem solving. Subjects may include AP Physics, AP Calculus, introductory college mechanics, electricity & magnetism, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.
Advanced/Test Prep — $130/hr
This level is for specialized coursework and high-stakes exam prep that often requires extensive individualized planning. This level is best for students who are physics/math/engineering majors and are either preparing for or enrolled in courses at an undergraduate junior/senior level. Subjects may include classical/analytical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics.
This level is also best for students who are preparing for specialized exams like the MCAT Chemical and Physical foundations section and SAT math. I will help you master difficult material, improve speed, and strengthen weak areas.
