Areas of Specialization

Every students learns differently. In addition to traditional tutoring and instruction, I have extensive experience working with students who need a more individualized approach.

Advanced Placement

AP instruction and exam prep are aligned with the current College Board curriculum and latest AP format (updated for the 2027 exam revision). Sessions can include reviewing concepts, problem-solving strategies, multiple-choice techniques, covering free response questions, and targeted preparation for the AP exam.

Neurodivergent Learners

I have experience working with students with autism and ADHD. It can be frustrating watching a student fall behind simply because the way a teacher or professor teaches does not work for them. I adapt lessons to different learning and communication styles based on how each student learns best. That might mean pacing the lessons slower, breaking problems into smaller steps, giving a student more time to work through an idea, or approaching the same idea from a different angle.

Advanced Students

I really enjoy working with academically advanced students. Some students are ready to move faster than a typical class allows, and I don’t want their curiosity or ability limited by their grade level. I have worked with students as young as eight-years old who study material well beyond their current curriculum, including high school and college-level math and physics. I can adjust the pace and difficulty so they continue to feel challenged and have room to explore subjects more deeply.
